Hot water Heater Electrical On Off Switch
Here you can see the on off switch just behind the gas line.
If this is turned off your electric heating element will not work. With this switch on it will work.
** CAUTION** Never have this turned on when you drain the water out of your tank or this electric element
will burn out very quickly. ALWAYS turn this off when draining your water tank for any reason.
You can use propane and electric at the same time your hot water will actually get hotter this way.
Usually when I have electric included with the site I use electric. When paying for electric I use propane I
have found this is usually cheaper.
When more than one person is going shower I always have the propane on as electric takes to long to
heat up again and the water does not get as hot using just electric.
